Yes, it’s completely normal — especially if you have sensitive nails. If it feels a little hot or tingly, just take your hand out of the lamp for a few seconds, then pop it back in to finish curing. It won’t affect the results.

If you’re using Extension Gel, that heat sensation (called a heat spike) usually happens when the gel layer is too thick. Next time, try applying a thinner layer — it’ll cure more comfortably and still give you strong, glossy nails!
